Description:As part of the Governor's effort to protect and restore Puget Sound, Fort Flagler State Park proposes to update their existing on-site sewer systems into one consolidated system utilizing a MBR (membrane bio-reactor) wastewater treatment plant. The proposal also involves the addition of electrical and water hook-ups to the existing campground RV sites, but will not increase the number of sites. This project requires a Shoreline Substantial Development permit for a Conditional Use permit and a Zoning Conditional Discretionary Use permit for a Minor Utility and will be processed under the Optional Consolidated Permit Processing JCC 18.40.030(2). Public notice and a public hearing are required.
