Description:The public hearing has been cancelled due to the August 23, 2004 adoption of the UGA. The adoption established a new zoning district for the parcel, which allows for technical schools to be established without undergoing conditional use approval. The applicant has applied for a Conditional Use Permit to establish the NW School Heritage Campus. The proposal encompasses three (3) seperate phases for development. The total scope of work consists of construction of a parking lot, a pole building, and a vault toilet facility. This phase will utilize the upper portion of property and not include waterfront development. Phase II will include an addition to the waterfront Rudder Building and construction of a classroom, and metal shop on the upper portion of the property. Phase III includes an administration building and student housing/parking. The optional DNS process of WAC 197-11-355 was utilized and comments pertaining to SEPA were not received. A Final Determination of Non-Significance was issued on September 2, 2004.
