Case Findings
Below is a list of findings for this permit case. Findings typically record facts that the staff are using as the basis of their permit processing decisions.
Title: F-ESA
Wording This repair activity is exempt from review of Environmentally Sensitive Areas under Section 3.6.4(g) of the Jefferson County Unified Development Code.

Title: F-SHORELINE
Wording The Washington Department of Transportation is seeking to make minor improvements to the state highway, portions of which are within 200 feet of a Shoreline Regulated by the Jefferson County Shoreline Management Master Program. Therefore, the proposed repair activity for State Highway is exempt under Section 3.402(6) County Shoreline Management Master Plan (SMMP), which is normal repair and maintenance. The processing of a shoreline exemption still requires compliance with the SMMP.

Title: F-Stormwater
Wording The repair of the existing highway would result in minor increases in the amount impervious surface and land disturbing activities. Sections 6.6 and 6.7 of the Jefferson County Unified Development Code requires that your proposal submit a Small Project, which is to implement Construction Best Management Practices.

Title: F-SEPA Exempt
Wording Jefferson County determined that this proposal is categorically exempt from review under the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) pursuant to WAC 197-11-800(2)(c) & 197-11-800(3) because this project entails minor repair and maintenance of an existing Highway.

Title: F-Site Plan Changes
Wording The site plan as submitted with the shoreline Exemption Application (SDP 05-32) on December 8, 2005 has been reviewed for consistency under the UDC, and has been approved by Jefferson County Department of Community Development. Any modifications, changes, and/or additions to the stamped, approved site plan dated January 5, 2006 shall be resubmitted for review and approval by Jefferson County Department of Community Development.

Title: F-Approval for _____ Only
Wording This approval is for the repair of State Highway 104, which would entail repair/resurfacing of pavement, guardrail improvments including fill, reconfigure drainage ditches, installing signage, and other associated activities only. Any future permits on this site are subject to review for consistency with applicable codes and ordinances and does not preclude review and conditions which may be placed on future permits.
