2. All skid roads not needed for the active management of the forestry use on the property should be scarified and re-seeded.
3. All timber harvest activities shall occur within two years from the date that the COHP Forest Practice Permit is issued by WA State DNR.
4. All trees over 125 years old should be retained where practical, and snags should be retained where they do not pose a safety hazard.
5. Trees remaining on-site after the harvest should represent all species and size classes that existed on-site before the harvest. Trees remaining should be of sufficient quality to survive after the harvest is complete.

7. After Jefferson County has completed the review of the COHP, the COHP is forwarded to the WA State DNR for the processing of the Forest Practices Application (FPA) that implements the COHP. This decision complies with this requirement.
8. A FPA from the WA State DNR is required for the removal of timber referenced in this proposal.
9. The site plan as submitted with the COHP application on December 16, 2010 has been reviewed for consistency under the UDC, and has been approved by Jefferson County Department of Community Development. Any modifications, changes, and/or additions to the stamped, approved site plan dated January 12, 2011 shall be resubmitted for review and approval by Jefferson County Department of Community Development.
10. This approval is for a COHP only. Any future permits on this site are subject to review for consistency with applicable codes and ordinances and does not preclude review and conditions which may be placed on future permits.
11. Prior to the removal of trees from the property, the perimeters of logging area shall be flagged/marked.
12. Brush and understory should remain intact as much as feasible.
13. All disturbed areas such as landing or where brush, understory, or stumps have been removed shall be stabilized by either planting grass seed, covering with gravel or mulch. This area may also require construction best management practices such as the placement of straws, hay bales, or silt fences.
