Case Number  SDP2016-00027
Description  SHORLINE EXEMPTION with Stormwater Management Permit and Flood Development Permit: Upgrade stormwater managment facilities to include on-site infiltration of stormwater into below-grade infiltration bed, with large storm event overflow into the marina (mimicking existing conditions). The project development consists of replacing a failed stormwater catch basin and infiltration trench with 2 new catch basins and a new 40’ long x 15’ wide x 1.5’ deep infiltration bed. The elevation of the trench bottom is proposed to maintain 12” of vertical separation above a tidally influenced ground water table. The stormwater flowing into the existing catch basin is from approximately 11,000 sf of paved parking lot. The new stormwater system is proposed to replace the existing, and increase its size to receive stormwater from 15,000 sf of paved and gravel driving surfaces.
