Title: alternative-asbuilt required
Wording H - An asbuilt drawing and certification of completion by the designer is required prior to final approval.

Title: protection from vehicular traffic
Wording All components of the septic system are to be completely protected from vehicular traffic or mechanical disturbance.

Title: divert drainage
Wording Divert all sources of drainage, including roof drains away from septic tank and drainfield area.

Title: SAND LINED TRENCH/BED
Wording TRENCH TO BE EXCAVATED TO 48" DEPTH AND THEN BACKFILLED WITH ASTM 33 TYPE SAND TO 24" AND UP SIDE WALLS AS PER DESIGN.

Title: UDC compliance

Future buildings that require connection to an on-site sewage system (OSS) shall only be approved if the OSS meets the current standards and codes in effect at the time of the building application.

Title: Code Compliance
Wording All construction and development activities must comply with all permit conditions, Washington State and Jefferson County Codes and Recommended Standards and Guidance documents in effect when the permit is issued.

Title: Contaminated Material - onsite
Wording H - The material that is removed from the system that has come into contact with waste water must be treated/decontaminated prior to final disposal. The material from the system shall be removed and placed as described in the design to allow for pathogen die-off. The material shall be placed in lifts of no more than 6"-8", each lift covered with lime. It shall be covered and protected from erosion (covered with 6 inches of uncontaminated soil or other approved material covered with straw, etc.).

Title: REDUCED SIZE DRAINFIELD
Wording This design uses the maximum area available for the primary drainfield. This area is only 960 sq. ft. As designed, this system is rated for 1200 GPD. An afidavit for the reduction in drainfled area has been signed and submitted with this application. Additional capacity in the reserve area has been identified as required.

Title: HIGH WATER ALARM
Wording H - The recirculation / pump tank (#4) prior to the drainfield must have a high water alarm that shuts off power to the pump located prior to the ATU's (#2). This alarm / shut-off must be tested at the pressure test prior to final.

Title: FLEX COUPLINGS

Title: F-Confirmed ESAs
Wording The Geographic Information Systems mapping review identified [and/or a site inspection confirmed] the following Critical Areas on the subject property: Critical Aquifer Recharge Area (CARA), Special Aquifer Recharge Protection Area (SARPA), Susceptible Aquifer Recharge Area (SARA).

Title: F-Aquifer Recharge Area
Wording Aquifer Recharge Areas in Jefferson County are characterized by porous geological formations that allow percolation of the surface water into the soils and the underlying zone of saturation. Aquifers are geologic formations that contain sufficient saturated permeable material to yield significant quantities of water to wells and springs. Aquifers serve as the source of drinking water within most of the rural portions of Jefferson County.

Title: F-Susc. Aquifer Recharge Area
Wording Susceptible Aquifer Recharge Areas are those with geologic and hydrologic conditions that promote rapid infiltration of recharge waters to groundwater aquifers.
