Title: No Building Permit Guaranteed
Wording Approval/issuance of a sewage disposal permit or installation of a septic system does not guarantee the approval of other development or a building permit on this site. Future buildings that require connection to an on-site sewage system (OSS) shall only be approved if the OSS meets the current standards and codes in effect at the time of the building application.

Title: Contaminated Material - onsite
Wording H - If the material removed from the existing system has come into contact with waste water, it must be treated/decontaminated prior to final disposal. The material from the system shall be removed and placed as described in the design to allow for pathogen die-off. The material shall be placed in lifts of no more than 6"-8", each lift covered with lime. It shall be covered and protected from erosion (covered with 6 inches of uncontaminated soil or other approved material then covered with straw, etc. to prevent errosion) IF THIS MATERIAL IS TO BE PLACED ON SITE AND NOT AT SHOLD/COTTON PIT AS DESIGNED, PRIOR APPROVAL IS REQUIRED FROM THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT. Title: CONFIRMED CRITICAL AREAS
Wording The application was reviewed by the Jefferson County Department of Community Development Staff on April 3, 2018 for the potential presence of Critical Areas under the provisions of the Unified Development Code (UDC). After an initial Geographic Information Systems mapping review the following Critical Areas were confirmed to be present on the subject property: Marine nearshore Fish & Wildlife Habitat Conservation Area, landslide hazard area, FEMA flood hazard area, susceptible aquifer recharge area, coastal saltwater intrusion protection zone.

Title: APPROVAL FOR SEPTIC REPAIR ONLY
Wording This approval is for a new septic system to replace an existing permitted septic system for a single family residence only. Any future permits on this site are subject to review for consistency with applicable codes and ordinances and does not preclude review and conditions which may be placed upon future permits.
