Description:I am working on an appraisal for Jefferson County regarding sewer lines on this parcel. As part of this appraisal, I need to determine the highest and best use for this parcel as if it were currently vacant. In order to do this, I need to better understand the zoning attached to this land. The current zoning is RR-5 in addition to an UGA-C designation. The description for UGA-C precludes building any NEW single-family homes, duplexes and multifamily units in this area. Does this mean the Rural Residential delineation is being phased out in favor of a commercial UGA as Port Hadlock is developed? If the answer is no, I will really appreciate an explanation of the zoning codes for this piece of land. Also, we are hoping to deliver this appraisal to the county relatively soon.
