Case Conditions
Below is a list of conditions for this permit case. Conditions typically record requirements that the applicant must meet to be in compliance with the permit.
Title: DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT
Wording • This permit is for a modular structure with a floor plan that includes a meeting room/tv room/ dining area with full kitchen, 2 offices and two (2 stall) bathrooms. The applicant provided a narrative that indicates this structure is not for any expansion of staffing or students; the narrative explains that the structure is intended to "better accommodate government mandated social distancing" as required by the COVID 19 pandemic protocols. According to the building official this structure has an occupancy of approximately 50 people based on square footage. Because this is a permanent structure and the pandemic protocols will not be enforced indefinitely, there is an assumption that there will be a possible expansion associated with this structure. Current water use records from 2020 (during the pandemic shutdowns) show an average of approximately 200 gallons per day. A septic system analysis report completed in 2018 by Tim Thomas, Licensed septic designer, showed adequate capacity for some expansion. Approval of this permit is subject to the additional conditions of approval for future submittals.

Title: Septic Sizing
Wording As designed and approved SEP2018-00135 (drainfield SEP2006-00194) is sized for maximum daily flows of 2295 gallons per day with timers for 1600 gallons per day (70% of max flow.)

Title: Water line/Septic system setback
Wording 10' minimum separation required between the water line and any onsite sewage system components including sewage transport lines.

Title: SEPTIC - No Assurance future dev.
Wording • Approval of this permit does not provide any assurance of future approvals for onsite sewage disposal on the property or use of any existing septic systems. Actions taken to date and proposed as part of this project may limit or prevent future development of an onsite sewage system. Any future proposals will require an update of student/staffing numbers, and a full hydraulic capacity analysis of the septic capacity by a licensed designer, including water metering and septic dosing data to determine the peak and average flows going to the septic system. This may also include waste strength testing.
